Ethics of Luck
Those of us who understand that there is no free-will, understand that people will do what they will do. It's just a matter of how the dominoes are stacked. And just as we don't worship a person who has been dealt a good hand of cards or cause suffering to a person who has been dealt a bad hand, so also must we temper the way we treat the winners and losers in life.
The "Ethics of Luck" is the concept that the "value" of people should not rest on their deeds. Deeds - both good and bad - are ultimately products of luck. Instead, each person must be afforded an instrinsic value regardless of what they have or haven't done in life.
