"Ethics of Luck" was the first book that told the story of a group of determinists who formed their own community. It went through quite a few revisions, eventually evolving into "Machinists Union #631". After a similar series of revisions, "Machinists Union #631" evolved into the current "Aren't We the Lucky Ones".

In case you are wondering, the middle purple book covers the same material as the left brown book, but it is written in Speechskript - a phonetic spelling system that Secretary Michael developed in the pre-computer 1980's to make the reading and writing of English easier for newcomers to the language.
